Paper Bead Earrings – Variety of colours
The recycled paper bead earrings are approx 1.5cm long and are on sterling silver ear hooks
How are they made? Well, magazine pages are sliced into fine strips using a guillotine then tightly wound around a stick to make individual beads. The beads are then strung onto fine fishing wire and then varnished. Each finished piece is hung to dry, before being varnished again. Rebecca Anne Jewellery then uses the beads to create stunning and upcycled designs.
We have handmade upcycled necklaces and bracelets all made from ethically sourced recycled and sustainable materials which you might like to match with it.
The beads are handcrafted in East Africa by self-supporting communities who receive a fair wage for their work. This enables them to independently pay for food staples as well as medical bills and education.
Please Note: The colour of each recycled paper bead earrings are determined by the material used. As each piece is unique it may not be an exact match to the colour and design as shown on the images, but will always be pretty and one of a kind!
If you would like a specific colour, please indicate which colour you would like when placing your order in the ‘Notes’ section and Rebecca Anne Jewellery will endeavour to match, as closely as possible, the colour you choose.
