Recycled Paper Bead Necklace – Multicoloured Beads
Approx 80cm long
How are they made? Well, magazine pages are sliced into fine strips using a guillotine then tightly wound around a stick to make individual beads. The beads are then strung onto fine fishing wire and then varnished. Each finished piece is hung to dry, before being varnished again. Rebecca Anne Jewellery then uses the beads to create stunning and upcycled designs.
We have handmade upcycled bracelets, rings and earrings all made from ethically sourced recycled materials that you might like to match with it.
Please Note: The colour of each bead is determined by the material used. As each piece is unique it may not be an exact match to the colour and design as shown on the images, but will always be pretty and one of a kind!
The beads are handcrafted in East Africa by self-supporting communities who receive a fair wage for their work. This enables them to independently pay for food staples as well as medical bills and education.
