Recycled Paper Bead Ring – Various Colours
The main bead is approx 1/2″ long and is surrounded by seed beads.
How are the beads made? Well, magazine pages are sliced into fine strips using a guillotine, they are tightly wound around a stick to make individual beads. The beads are then strung onto fine fishing wire and then varnished. Each finished piece is hung to dry, before being varnished again.
We have ethically sourced handmade bracelets, necklaces and earrings that you might like to match with it.
Please specify the colour of the ring you would like (main bead colour and surrounding seed beads colour) along with the size (small, medium or large) when placing your order in the ‘Notes’ section.
Those shown in the photo are on blue and grey seeds beads
The beads are handcrafted in East Africa by self-supporting communities who receive a fair wage for their work. This enables them to independently pay for food staples as well as medical bills and education.
